I ordered and received this mat in early January (2025) but had distal bicep surgery the next month. I was suppose to wait till after August to even think about sports activities. Well, I started hitting golf balls on this mat two months after surgery. And with no regrets. Sure, I started out chipping and then finally got to full swings, but this mat, I trust.
The one recommendation I would make is buy a cheaper mat to stand on, and never stand on your good mat. No mat yet can take the weight of a person and not leave some type of memory depressions. So I never stand on this mat. And after now, some thousands of hits, this mat looks brand new.
A good quality mat is heavy. And this is. But lighter cheaper mats are just that, cheap. This mat does not hurt my elbow, the left elbow as a right handed golfer - and give me hours of great practice. I would highly recommend this mat, and standing on a cheaper mat, while knowing I will have this mat for years to come.
I do have another great quality mat that I have had for 3 years and looks brand new. That company no longer makes that mat. So I am satisfied I found this mat and a company still making, and backing, their products.
Very nice mat. As advertised, does not leave green on the bottom of the club. Nice and cushion-y to stand on and hit off. Just enough give that it feels like you're hitting of grass.

The Monster Mat 2.0 came in within 3 business days, and boy am I happy with my purchase. I’ve been in the market for a golf mat for months now and it was a very hard decision because of all the mats on the market. You have the country club elite, the fiberbuilt, the ez tee, truestike, gorilla mat, and not to mention the ones you find on amazon that are around 100 bucks (fyi: do not buy a golf hitting mat off amazon) and obviously they all claim to be the best golf mat ever. When I hit off the Monster mat for the first time, it felt amazing. Feels like a real fairway, if you hit one bad you feel it but not in a way that can damage your joints of hurt your body. You can just tell “okay, that was a bad hit,” and if you are using a launch monitor it picks up the bad hits. This mat is great, it feels real, it punishes bad swings and doesn’t take a toll on your body. I even spoke to the owner of the company, Brent, and he was a very down to earth guy who obviously has a ton of experience and knowledge in his field since he’s been in the business for 51 years is what I believe he said. Overall, great mat, super happy with my purchase, would recommend to anyone who is serious about practicing golf and improving their game.
