I have been using a Monster Mat in my home golf simulator for the past 4 months and I could not be happier!! It is thicker, more durable and has better feel than any other mat I have used. There is nothing like the feel of hitting off real grass but Monster Mat is the next best thing to real grass that I have found. I really, really like that I can use normal tees in the tee holder. My name is Chad and I wanted to take the time to give a testimonial of my experience with the Monster Mat and the company behind it.
First off I want to say that I’ve purchased multiple different hitting mats from the PGA superstore and online and Amazon and they are not even close to the quality of this product. It is night and day. I was suffering from pain in my right wrist after a long session of hitting balls and I could hardly hold my toothbrush.
I had a tendency to hit the ball about an inch fat. Thank God I seem to fix that problem for the most part now, but it took a lot of work, and those cheap old mats were torture on the arms. They also give you a false sense of how you hit the ball.
Although not painful -ever, the monster mat lets you feel when you hit the ball fat much more realistically and helped me fix the problem that I was basically cheating with the other ones.
Also, the feel under your feet is so cushioning it’s like being on a perfect Fairway. It’s American made quality. Besides the product though it’s the company and the owner in particular that make this somebody that you should buy from. When I had questions, I called and Brent the owner took the time to answer my questions, make sure my order was processed properly, and got it out to me in a timely manner. All he asked was once I got it and hit on it for a while that I give him a call and let him know what I thought. I was more than pleased to call him back and report how happy I was. And then something interesting happened. We got into a regular conversation which in this busy world doesn’t happen very often. I will just say that this gentleman took the time to be a friend to someone that he hardly knew. I asked myself after the phone call how did I even get into that conversation with the guy selling golf mats. I have to say he’s one of the kindest, most genuine Christian man I have spoken to in many years. Not only passionate about his product, but about doing good business in general, and treating other human beings with love and respect.
They just don’t make them like that anymore. So, I would encourage anyone to spend their money with this company because these are the kind of company America was built on, and we need more of them.
